PORTLAND - Millions of containers of dog and cat food sold at major retailers across North America have been recalled. Menu Foods says it's recalling dog food sold under 48 brands and cat food sold under 40 brands, including Iams, Nutro and Eukanuba.

A Canadian firm that produced tainted pet food is once again expanding its recall. Menu Foods previously recalled cat and dog food made at its plants in New Jersey and Kansas because of contamination by an industrial chemical.
